개요

  • Proxmox에서 장애 또는 Backup에 대한 alert을 받기 위해서 진행하게 되었다.
  • 해당 글에서는 Microsoft Office365를 대상으로 설정하였다.

E-Mail notification 설정방법

Proxmox는 Linux이기 때문에 postfix의 패키지를 통해서 E-Mail을 전달 한다.
기본적으로 SSL(TLS)가 있는 SMTP 서버 같은 경우엔 Linux의 sasl module을 이용이 필요하다.

# libsasl2-module 설치
root@is-pve1:~$ apt install libsasl2-modules

sasl module을 설치 했다면, 본격적으로 세팅을 해본다.
설정 파일은 postfix와 마찬가지로 /etc/postfix/main.cf의 파일로 진행하면 된다.
Proxmox의 기본 값들이 존재하지만, 이 중 relayhost 항목만 주석 처리 후 아래에 다시 추가를 해준다.

인증을 위해 sasl_passwd파일도 생성해준다.

이후 적용을 위해 다음과 같이 진행한다.

E-Mail 테스트

테스트는 다음과 같은 한 줄로 가능하다.

root@is-pve1:~$ echo "테스트 입니다." | mail -a "From: send@senddomain.com" -s "제목 없음" dest@destdomain.com

Error의 발생 여부를 확인하기 위해선 /var/log/mail.log를 통하여 확인이 가능하다.
